I help women step into an established, ready to run Baby Sensory business and turn it into a flexible, rewarding career that works around family life, not against it.
Whether you are at home with young children or already back at work, that feeling of there must be another way is often where this starts.
For some women, that other way looks like stepping into something that is already working, and making it their own. That is exactly where this opportunity begins.
Before you read on, it might help to hear about this opportunity from me first
These are calm, engaging Baby Sensory sessions for new parents and their babies, where learning, development and connection come together, and they are already running successfully, week after week.
This is Baby Sensory, for babies from birth to 13 months: a calm, thoughtfully designed programme built around early development, one that families come back to week after week.
As you read through this, it might be worth asking yourself: could I actually see myself doing this? If the answer is yes, the next step is simply finding out a little more.
This is a well established Baby Sensory North Reading business that has been running successfully since 2010, supporting families and building a strong, trusted presence in the local community.
It is a business that families already value, not something you would be building awareness for from scratch.
And for the right person, there is still plenty of opportunity to grow and develop it further.
This business has been carefully built and nurtured, and is now ready for someone new to take it forward and make it their own.
Baby Sensory North Reading has been running in the local area since 2010, building a strong reputation and supporting families through those early months.
Helen first attended classes as a new mum in 2012 and quickly fell in love with the experience, not just how engaged her baby was, but how much she enjoyed the classes herself.
After a long career in finance, she made the decision to take the leap and launch her own Baby Sensory business in High Wycombe and Marlow.
Over the years, she built a highly successful business, running multiple classes across four days each week.
When the opportunity came up in 2022 to take over Baby Sensory North Reading, the area where she lives and where her own journey began, she recognised the strength and potential of the business and chose to make the move.
She stepped into an established business and made it her own, and now it is ready for someone else to do the same.
Since taking it on, she has continued to grow and strengthen the business, building on its already strong reputation and welcoming around 180 babies each week.
More recently, she chose to scale the business to suit her current lifestyle, now running fewer days while still maintaining a strong, loyal customer base and a reliable, rewarding income.
One of the things she has valued most is the flexibility it has given her.
Like many women, she did not set out thinking, I want to run a business. She simply wanted something that worked around her life and felt meaningful. And that is exactly what she built.
Now, after 14 years of running Baby Sensory classes, she is ready to step back and pass it on to someone new to take it forward.
For the right person, there is still plenty of opportunity to grow the business further, whether that is expanding class days, increasing capacity, or building on what is already a strong and well established business.
This is not about figuring everything out on your own.
You are stepping into an established Baby Sensory business that already has:
If this feels like the kind of change you have been thinking about, we can talk it through together.
You are stepping into something that already works. A well established Baby Sensory business, with families already attending, classes already running, and a strong foundation in place.
I did not start out thinking I would run my own business.
Like a lot of women, I simply wanted something that worked around my life and family, but still felt meaningful and rewarding.
That is what first led me to the WOW World Group, originally as a parent attending Baby Sensory classes with my own baby. At the time, I was working in the corporate world as a Training Manager, but I knew it no longer fitted with the life I wanted as my family grew.
Since then, I have built my own successful children's activity business, and now, over 15 years on as a Regional Franchisor for WOW Thames Valley West, I support other women to do the same.
My role is to guide you through the whole process, from understanding what this opportunity really looks like, to helping you step into it with confidence and grow it into something that works for you.
You are not expected to figure everything out on your own. The structure, the support and the experience are already there, and I will be alongside you as you get started and beyond.
When you step into this business, you are not figuring everything out on your own. You will have:
It is everything you need to step into the business with confidence, and build something that works for you.
Baby Sensory alone welcomes around 32,000 babies every week, making it one of the most recognised and trusted programmes for early development.
WOW World Group has over 25 years of experience in children's development programmes, founded in the UK and now operating in more than 10 countries worldwide, with families returning again and again because of the quality, structure and experience each programme offers.
So you are not figuring everything out alone, you are building on something that already works.
You will step into a business that already has customers, classes and a local reputation in place. You will receive full training, support and guidance so you understand exactly how everything works, and how to confidently take it forward as your own. Together, Helen and I will support a clear, calm handover, introducing you to the customers and making sure the transition feels smooth and comfortable for everyone.
You do not. Most of the women I work with have not done anything like this before, whether that is working with children or running a business. You are fully trained and supported, and your confidence grows as you go.
Not at all. This first conversation is simply about exploring whether this could be a good fit for you. You will have the space and time to think things through properly before making any decisions.
The existing customers stay with the business, and there is already strong awareness and interest locally. Together, Helen and I will support a smooth, well managed handover, introducing you to families so the transition feels natural and reassuring for everyone. Alongside this, you will continue to build on what is already there, with ongoing marketing and support to keep bringing new families into your classes.
The next step is a relaxed conversation where we talk through your situation, what you are looking for, and whether this opportunity could work for you. If it feels like a good fit, I will guide you through the next steps at a pace that feels right for you, including sharing more detailed information and giving you the opportunity to see the business in action.
As this is an established business, the investment includes both the initial franchise set up and the purchase of the existing business.
Unlike starting completely from scratch, you are stepping into a business that already has customers, venues, reputation, systems and regular weekly income in place.
The franchise set up covers everything you need to get started, including your Practitioner and Business training, equipment, lesson plans, systems and ongoing support as your business grows.
The investment reflects both the franchise set up and the value of taking over an already established, income generating business.
The overall investment can vary depending on the size, customer numbers and performance of the business, but typically sits within a range of twelve thousand to thirty thousand pounds.
Because you are stepping into an existing business with customers and demand already in place, you are starting from a much stronger position from day one.
Many people choose to explore different ways of funding their investment. Some use savings, while others look into options such as the Government Start Up Loan Scheme, which some people use to help fund the purchase and launch of their franchise business.
Many people also find reassurance in knowing the scheme can offer fixed monthly repayments, no early repayment fees and access to additional business mentoring during the first year, alongside the ongoing support and guidance they would already receive throughout their franchise journey.
You can find out more about the Government Start Up Loan Scheme here: Government Start Up Loan Scheme
We can then talk everything through in more detail on a call, including the full financial picture, customer numbers, business performance and what support would be included as part of the handover process.
Still thinking it through? It might help to hear what happens next. I have recorded a quick video you can watch here.
If something in this has been sitting with you as you have read through, the next step is just a quick chat.
